Talk:Research

From OGame Wiki

In universe 42, the formula does NOT apply. It appears to be double the divisor ie. 2(1000 * (1 + Research Level)) to give the same result as the game.

That would be because uni42 is a 2x speed uni, so all formulas would be off. Br4indead 13:18, 14 May 2009 (UTC)

I question some of the math here.

If I have an IGN of 3 (so I can link three research labs up); and one has a 12 and the two other an 8. Then according to the formula my research time would be equivalent to a 38 level research lab (12 + 8 + 8). It does not seem to be working that way. It's more like having a 12.5 level research lab.

[add the cost of a level 12 plus the two level 8's. The resources don't even add up to a level 13.]

So to get the benefit of a level 13 lab, you would need a 12 and two 11's. Which is the same cost as just building a level 13 lab on one planet.

Can you research things on a colony planet? Since whenever I click 'start research' nothing appears to happen. --82.71.41.74 18:39, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
