what does lv 2 research of jumpgate do????

Jacana: Does not have any effect except for increasing your exp of coarse.

Santagonewrong: Can you send to another member of your alliance's jump gate?

I just finished my second jumpgate. However I don't have any idea how to mover ships between my moons??? Is there some tutorial or instructions on how to get it going or is it easy and I'm missing something I can't see to get it started.

Jumpgates can only be built on moons, if you are lucky enough to have 2 moons then you can use Jumpgates but can only transport your ships between the 2 gates(yo cannot transport ally or resources through gates).. it takes one hour to recharge in between... to jump your ships you must go onto the buildings tab then click the jumpgate picture.... this will then allow you to enter how many and of what types of ship you wish to jump and to where..

I'm not at the point of having 3 moons, and I'm still working on construction jump gates, but what if you have 3 moons with Jump Gates, does the game give you the option to choose which moon to jump to?

You select the destination gate from a dropdown. They are not "matched" gates, simply destination gates - you can send your ships to any gate. Dekker500 08:40, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

Can't they change it next update so alliance members are allowed to travel though each others please.

Yes, they can, but you'd have to request that feature from Gameforge.de, creators of OGame. At present, it is not possible to use gates of any other player. Dekker500 10:27, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
