So suppose you get attacked when you're off line, then the ABM destroys the incoming IPM automatically? Or do you need to be on line during the attack? manually launch the ABM? And is the attack strength of the IPM affected by the attackers weapon research or only the defenders armour technology?

ABMs are automatically launched weather you are online or offline.

But can someone confirm that ABMs on the planet shield moon on that planet from IPMs?
