Planet Size

From OGame Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search

The Planet Size is the amount of fields a planet has to build on. The more fields there are, the more structures can be built. When you run out of available fields, you cannot build any more structures (see; Terraformer). Planet sizes range from 10-20 fields all the way to about 350 fields. Most average around the 100-200 range however.

Some players do not mind how many fields their colonies have.Players who are planning to play OGame for a long time should delete colonies that have a low amount of fields. Each player has their own definition of an "acceptable" amount of fields so below is a guide to how much you can build:

#: Level, M: Metal, C: Crystal, D: Deuterium, S: Solar Power, F: Fusion Power, SY: Ship Yard, RL: Research Lab, MS: Metal Storage, CS: Crystal Storage, DS: Deuterium Storage, RF: Robotics Factory, NN: Nanite Factory, MS: Missile Silo

  • 300 Fields - (can't be filled completely)

When you colonize a planet, the amount of fields you are likely to get depends on which planet slot you colonise. Below is a chart to show you the likelihood of getting a good planet size, depending on which planet slot you have chosen as your new home.

  • pos1 to 3: 80% between 40 and 70 fields (55+/-15)
  • pos4 to 6: 80% between 120 and 310 fields (215+/-95)
  • pos7 to 9: 80% between 105 and 195 fields (150+/-45)
  • pos10 to 12: 80% between 75 and 125 fields (100+/-25)
  • pos13 to 15: 80% between 60 and 190 fields (125+/-65)
