A place where fleets can engage in combat, or a colony ship can colonize so that the user can build mines and other structures.
Planets other than the initial "home" planet can be destroyed at any time by the planets' owners. This is usually done in case the player has the maximum of 9 planets, and needs a new planet in a different location, or a miner might destroy a planet if that planet doesn't contain a sufficient number of fields
