The moon tax does not exist. It is a rumor. (However it does cost you 10 Deut to 'simply look' at any solar system in the galaxy; hence the supposed Moon Tax some players may

think they see.) The rumor was:

"When you acquire a Moon, you will be charged a large tax. This is to ensure that players don't become too powerful too quickly when they first get a moon. The higher the Lunar Base level the higher the Tax.
