Messages are the in-game method of communication between players. The Write Message icon appears in many places in OGame and clicking it will open a dialogue box, in which you can write your messages. Some places the icon appears are:
- Galaxy view
- Search results
- Buddylist
- The Member list of your Alliance
- Statistics Page
- The subject line of any messages you receive from other players.
Messages cannot contain insults/profanity and must be in English. Each message received has a report insult check box at the bottom.
Circular Messages may also be sent within your alliance.
All messages can be viewed by the Game Operator.
